Yellow Wallpaper is a boutique chain specializing in modern home decor. Ahead of their inaugural store launch, I was tasked with crafting a contemporary logo that exuded uniqueness while seamlessly complementing a variety of products without overpowering them.
During the initial stages, various pictorial marks were explored, yet none achieved the delicate balance of distinctiveness and subtlety desired by the client. Transitioning to a lettermark approach, I seized the opportunity to intertwine the two initials, resulting in a subtle yet distinctly modern emblem.
The execution of the lettermark proceeded smoothly without the need for iterations. However, the arrangement of the brand name underwent several revisions before settling on a slightly playful layout that ultimately found its place in the final design iteration.
